By his seventh year, Mattheo had devised various skills, including Parseltongue, Legilimency, wandless magic, non-verbal magic, and Occlumency.

He never knew his father because her mother never told him after she left his father. After his mother died, he was raised by his maternal grandparents. However, when Voldemort returns and discovers he has a son, he forces his son to join the Death Eaters group, and Mattheo joins because he wants to protect others.

Draco was Mattheo's best friend during his Hogwarts years. He was in Mattheo's gang. Both Mattheo and Draco were forced to join the Death Eaters group.

After Hogwarts, the gang went separate ways, however, Mattheo remained Draco's closest friend even after the Battle of Hogwarts.
